Westward Bound Campgrounds operates 14 Alberta Parks Campgrounds and 15 Alberta Parks Group Campgrounds. Westward Bound has operated since 2010 and offer clean campsites, caretakers on site most locations, family friendly atmosphere, pull-thru and back-in sites, open May 1 through Thanksgiving (weather permitting), and located along highway 22 and highway 11 west of Rocky Mtn. House to the Banff Park Boundary.

Medicine Lake – 49 sites (45 by reservation)
Chambers Creek – 25 first come first served sites
Horburg – 11 first come first served sites
Jackfish Lake – 5 first come first served sites
Saunders – 8 first come first served sites
Harlech – 17 first come first served sites
Beaverdam – 11 first come first served sites
Fish Lake – 40 sites by reservation, 65 first come first served sites (26 power sites, first come first served)
Goldeye Lake – 44 first come first served sites
Dry Haven – 17 first come first served sites
Crescent Falls – 31 first come first served sites
Two O’clock Creek – 26 first come first served sites
Thompson Creek – 56 first come first served sites

As you approach Nordegg, you are greeted with the majestic Rocky Mountains, as well as picturesque views as you travel further into the mountains along Abraham Lake. A quick jaunt off of the highway will take you to Crescent Falls. Hiking is abundant along the highway into high mountain lakes or other attractions such as Siffleur Falls, a family friendly high of 4 kms one way.
Rainbow Trout can be caught at stocked lakes (Fish Lake, Goldeye Lake) as well as the North Saskatchewan River.
