Red Deer Regional Airport

Serving Central Albertans, Red Deer Airport offers scheduled passenger service to Calgary through Air Canada Express. YQF continues to be one of the busiest regional airports in Canada and a vital and vibrant transportation link for Central Alberta. The Red Deer Airport Authority is a not-for-profit, non-share Capital Corporation incorporated under the Alberta Regional Airports Authorities Act. Since 1992, it has been responsible for the management, maintenance and development of Red Deer Airport.

The Red Deer Airport is located 10 minutes south of the City of Red Deer. The airport has seen rapid growth in its scheduled flights and charter air services in the past few years.

Since September 3, 2013, they provide three daily flights from Red Deer Airport to Calgary. Operated by Air Georgian, the planes will be 18-seat Beechcraft 1900D aircraft. With this service, central Albertans can now fly internationally from their local airport.
