Double Tree Village Museum

You can experience the way the west country was opened up for us to enjoy now. We have wagon and sleigh rides pulled by our beautiful team of Belgian Draft horses and mini horses to enjoy. They are quite precious and love children.

Our Village hosts the Annual Draft Horse and Pioneer Field Days on the first weekend of June. The Draft horses will be working the field with a variety of farm equipment during both days and wagon rides will be provided for you to go to the field. In the village there are many displays of handiwork for men and women, a concession provided, Jam session on Sat. evening as well all the village buildings to look in. There will be a display of Quilts.

During the year we offer Sleigh and Wagon Rides for families, groups and school classes. We have many hands of items for every one to try. It is a must see one of Alberta’s Hidden Treasures.
