Discovery Wildlife Park

Located in Innisfail. Discovery Wildlife Park is a refuge for orphaned and unwanted wildlife. We provide “forever” homes for animals who are not able to be returned to the wild. Located on 90 acres of parkland and offering educational opportunities for schools and the general public about wildlife, conservation and our role as animal caretakers.

Daily animal presentations are included with your admission, so everyone can take part and learn more about these issues. Many amenities are on site – RV and tent camping with power, an awesome concession and gift shop for your eating and shopping pleasure, a family room for moms to feed and change babies or just give quiet times for toddlers, golf cart rentals for those visitors with mobility issues who would otherwise not be able to visit and enjoy the animals and free parking. Photo opportunities with some of the animals are also available.

Our Night at the Zoo family campout is great fun for all ages, Zookeeper for a Day camps, the Ultimate Bear Experience, ZooFest and our Winter Walk with the Wolves are some of the events you and your family can take part in. Join us for a season of great animal and family experiences!

Discovery Wildlife Park is open from May 1 to Thanksgiving Day each year from 10am to 7pm seven days a week. Last admissions are taken at 6:00pm.
