Red Deer Symphony Orchestra

Established in 1987, the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra is a community oriented organization that is dedicated to inspiring appreciation for arts and culture in central Alberta through providing high calibre performances and educational experiences. The seven concert Main Series runs fall – late spring; memberships and single ticket sales are available. Music education experiences offered include Choir Kids, Open Dress Rehearsal and Music Plus; dates, times and ways to participate in education programs are available at www.rdso.ca.

The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit organization and a registered charity that has a 30 year history of stimulating central Alberta hearts and minds through symphonic music.

The community that the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra has built is a very dynamic group of people, aligned by one common denominator: passion for supporting arts and culture.

Music brings people of all races, religion and culture together. No matter the walk of life, music remains a constant. It can be evocative – sometimes overwhelmingly so. It is empowering. It is vigorous. It is even therapeutic.

Music speaks a language that is unlike any other. It’s universally understood, but emotionally unique for each listener. it promotes imagination. It allows people to step outside their ordinary limits, to paint their own image and create their own experiences.

It allows people to let go. Which is what the Red Deer Symphony is inviting you to do: let go of everything you thought you knew about the symphony and discover your local destination for world-class artistry.

Whether you are interested in volunteering, donating or attending one of our concerts, events or programs – we welcome your contact.
